Blurb is a fun word to say, but less fun to write. Say it enough times out loud and it will lose all meaning. This is a fun exercise to do with any word. You’ll really start to notice the sound of it, how your mouth shapes it, and how strange and funny it is that that noise your mouth makes could have such depth of meaning.

Seriously. Try it. Pick a word, and say it out loud, again and again, for 30-45 seconds.

Anyway… onto the blurb:

“The destiny of the world is determined less by the battles that are lost and won than by the stories it loves and believes in.”

Posts on this blog are likely to vary in their topic. There will be some psychology, some writing, some science, some reviews, and a sizeable amount of throwing nascent ideas out into the world. The threads that tie it all together are language and stories. I don’t know what’s going to go into this blog as it develops, but I do know that on some level, every post is going to tie back to stories in some shape or form.
